wire mesh material

Fudas provides different wire mesh materials for customers to choose from. Different materials correspond to different usage scenarios.

Stainless Steel

Appearance: Silvery white, mirror polishable

Tensile strength: High (600-1000 MPa)

Corrosion resistance: Extremely strong (especially 316)

Features: High temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, no surface treatment required, long life

Cost: High

Applicable scenarios: Building houses by the sea, gabion mesh, food filtration, high-end protection, medicine, chemical environment

Hot-Dip Galvanized Iron Wire

Appearance: silver-gray, thick zinc layer slightly rough

Tensile strength: medium-high (350-550 MPa)

Corrosion resistance: strong (can be used outdoors for 5-10 years)

Features: strong anti-rust ability, uniform zinc layer, suitable for long-term outdoor use

Cost: medium

Applicable scenarios: fences, gabions, foundation reinforcement, bridge guardrails

Electro Galvanized Iron Wire

Appearance: Silvery white and smooth, thin zinc layer

Tensile strength: Medium (300-450 MPa)

Corrosion resistance: General (suitable for indoor or short-term use)

Features: Low cost, good appearance, but weak durability

Cost: Low

Applicable scenarios: Indoor partitions, disposable construction nets, light support structures

Dip Coating / PVC Coated

Appearance: green, black, white, blue and other colors

Tensile strength: medium (300-450 MPa)

Corrosion resistance: strong (UV protection, waterproof)

Features: good flexibility, beautiful, optional colors, double corrosion protection

Cost: medium to high

Applicable scenarios: garden fences, breeding nets, landscape protection, school sports fields

Galfan Wire, Zn-Al Alloy Coated

Appearance: slightly silver-gray, smooth and uniform

Tensile strength: medium-high (500-750 MPa)

Corrosion resistance: extremely strong (2-3 times higher than hot-dip galvanizing)

Features: Combining the advantages of zinc and aluminum, high corrosion resistance and long life

Cost: medium-high

Applicable scenarios: river channel gabion mesh, bank protection mesh, harsh climate environment, long-term engineering

Carbon Steel Wire

Appearance: black or grayish black, rough when not treated

Tensile strength: extremely high (up to 1000+ MPa)

Corrosion resistance: poor (easy to rust)

Features: high strength, low cost, but must be rust-proofed

Cost: low

Applicable scenarios: structural frames, concrete reinforcement, internal supports, mechanical wire

Epoxy coating

Appearance: smooth and bright surface, rich colors (black, white, gray, green, etc.)

Tensile strength: medium-high (500-750 MPa)

Corrosion resistance: strong (dense coating, rust-proof and waterproof, excellent weather resistance)

Features: electrostatic spraying + high temperature curing, strong coating adhesion, good decorative effect, but relatively brittle,
Easy to peel off due to impact

Cost: medium

Applicable scenarios: indoor guardrails, furniture mesh, display racks, decorative protective products
