Fudas Gabion Reno Mattresses: Durable Erosion Control Solutions
Direct from the manufacturer. FUDAS delivers ASTM/EN compliant double-twisted mesh mattresses engineered for superior hydraulic erosion control. Featuring Galfan/PVC coating for maximum corrosion resistance, our mattresses provide a cost-effective, long-lasting solution for riverbanks and channel linings.

Gabion Basket vs. Reno Mattress: What's the Difference?
Shared DNA, Distinct Purposes. Both are crafted from double-twisted hexagonal wire mesh. The key difference lies in their height-to-width ratio, determining whether they act as a rigid wall or a flexible lining.
Dimensions:
Tall Box. Typically 0.5m or 1.0m high. Designed to hold massive volume.
Application:
Retaining Walls. Used like giant bricks to build gravity walls or weirs.
Feature:
Stackable. Rigid enough to be stacked layer by layer.

FAQ About Welded Wire Mesh
What size of stone fill should I use for Reno Mattresses?
For a standard 60x80mm mesh, we recommend stones with a diameter between 75mm and 150mm. The stones should be hard, angular, and durable. Using stones smaller than the mesh opening will result in loss of fill, while overly large stones may create voids.
Do you supply lacing wire and C-rings with the order
Yes. By default, we include Lacing Wire (2.2mm) amounting to 5% of the total mattress weight free of charge. If you prefer faster installation, we can supply C-Rings (Galvanized or Stainless Steel) and pneumatic tools (hog ring guns) upon request.
Can l order custom sizes not listed in your catalog?
Absolutely. As a source factory, we can manufacture any dimension to fit your project drawings. Common custom requests include 1.5m width or special lengths (up to 6m) to minimize on-site cutting and waste.
